Diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL) is an
aggressive malignancy that comprises
approximately one third of all non-Hodgkin
lymphoma. Despite a high rate of response to
chemotherapeutic regimes, about half of the
patients die of the disease. To learn more about
the disease, we submitted 64 newly-diagnosed
DLBCL specimens to high-resolution array-CGH
analysis. We present the results of our study,
including the identification of both the regions
that associate with clinical outcome and the
target genes in the regions. We will also
discuss important data analysis issues that are
sometimes overlooked in the field: dye-swapping,
normalization, and multiple comparisons. |
